Keep labels readable
Write or retain the oil name, purchase date, and any dilution notes. A beautiful unlabeled bottle is difficult to use safely and nearly impossible to share responsibly.
Protect from heat and light
Keep oils away from direct sun, hot cars, radiators, and places children or pets can access. Close caps promptly and avoid storing beside food or drink.
Edit the collection
A smaller, familiar set is easier to enjoy than an expanding shelf of mystery bottles. Review your collection each season and keep only what you use with confidence.
A simple way to try it
- Label new bottles on the day they arrive.
- Store upright in a cool, shaded cabinet.
- Review seasonally and discard any product that is unknown, degraded, or unsuitable.
